Gear of The Week: "The Truth Hurts"
In response to popular demand (I exaggerate, of course), Raider Take proudly launches a new line of branded apparel that serves notice to the Raiders Haters, reminding them: The Truth Hurts
These shirts act as a bit of kryptonite amid the global anti-Raiders media conspiracy. For a refresher course on this conspiracy, click here, here, here, here, here, here and here. This conspiracy has infiltrated all walks of life: old ladies, children, soccer moms, architects, police officers, you name it. No demographic is immune (although pipefitters and drywall installers seem to have heightened immunity).
After feasting on a diet of lies about the Raider Nation, these folks walk around like zombies, hating the Raiders while carefully sidestepping the truth.
Until now. Until I strut past them in my new Raider Take apparel. Until their lying pieholes go mute and the truth is acknowledged.

Dude, sweet! Good luck on the new venture!
Thanks, Doobie! It's fun side project. Maybe I'll send one to Ray Ratto for Christmas.
Send me one of these "We Take What We Want" ones. Does it come in black?
I was wondering the same about the "Long Bombs, No Apologies" shirt.
Thanks for you interest! I'll work on it.
The vendor, Cafe Press, only just started offering black shirts in a "beta" mode. Alas, the black shirts cost more than the white ones, and they require a different graphic design setup.
However, I asked my graphic designer to give it a shot on the new RT design, and it did turn out nicely, so I'll see if she can do it for the rest of the designs.
I have been enjoying Raider Take for sometime now. I feel that you and Raider Law provide the most intelligent discussion related to our beloved on the web. I have and always will subscribe to the Conspiracy Theory. There is just no way around it. In addition I agree with the ascertion that the media is working to make the Raiders irrelevant. There has always been the normal East Coast or just won the Super Bowl team (ad nauseam)coverage. What comes immediatley to mind is the NFL Network. There is never an ad or even an action clip involving the Raiders. Sure things might be grudgingly different if they were 23-9 over the last two years. My take is that those who cover the NFL are pulling the company line and always want to remain in good graces. Not covering or diminishing what the Raiders do is perfectly acceptable. After all, the Raiders do themselves no favors by keeping their doors closed but so what? In any case, I am next off to purchase my Raider Take T-shirts! Thanks for a great blog!

Dave, thank you for your kind comments! I am honored and inspired by your feedback.
I just want to voice my agreement with Dave. Blogs tend to be pretty inane at best. Raider Take, on the other hand, is a bastion of mature and intelligent discussion. Thank you for all the hard work.
Thank you, thefreakingpope, and I should take this opportunity to commend you for having one of the coolest screen names out there...
