Raiders defense looks better (and is the difference in the game so far) but the Giants are not good, so it's tough to say for sure if they are improved under Pagano. Mack is Mack!
However, if Jack Del Rio can't see what's wrong with the Raiders playcalling on offense, he should be fired. Carr is 10/18 for 80 yards in the first half, and it's not because his dumping the ball off. Marshall Lynch is running sideways instead of straight ahead. Lynch isn't going to outrun the entire Giants defense around the edge. And going for it on 4th down at mid-field was a joke; especially because the Giants are controlling the LOS. Presumably, Del Rio made that call.
Raiders need to be smarter! At some point, it has to become obvious to even the blinded Raiders brass that Downing is over his head.
Tough road to 6-6, but it's good enough to be tied for 1st place in the division.
Giants should fire McAdoo to save face for benching their team captain. Should be an easy call!
Raiders now face a very pissed off Chiefs team in their house. It will take a better effort than today.
Respect to Lynch he raised the teams play and is a leader by example. His 21 yard catch and run was as impressive and as critical as his 51 yard gallop.
Carr looked like his old self finally.

Giants have fired McAdoo-doo this morning (Monday). Lynch's 51 yard TD was on power blocking, the rest of the first half, after the first drive, Downing goes back to ZBS. He needs to go. Our o-line are ready to smack someone, but Downing keeps hanging on to ZBS. Raiders have to be better on both sides of the ball to beat the Chiefs next week. I believe they can do it, but Del Rio has to slap the stupid out of Downing, and get rid of ZBS and go back to power. This is getting ridiculous.

Nate, unfortunately, the one success out of 35 runs is all Downing needs to keep his faith in ZBS. This has been going on for so long that my issue is now with Del Rio. He has to see the big picture and put a stop to this nonsense. Either that or McKenzie should step in and remind all coaches that he signed and drafted power blockers... so they should stop stunting these 350 lb gorillas and run straight ahead!
Andy Reid has suspended Marcus Peters against the Raiders because he threw a penalty flag in the stands against the Jets Sunday. MARCUS PETERS WILL NOT PLAY!!!
First, we learned that Ezekiel Elliott won't play due to suspension. Then, Eli was not playing last week vs. Giants. Now, Marcus Peters won't play in a HUGE game for both teams. I'm holding my breath for Rivers and the Eagles' starters. Stars are aligning in our favor. JUST WIN, BABY

Interesting. You'd think Reid would just make him run laps or something... seeing how they are in a playoff race. Maybe Reid thinks Revis can replace Peters. Maybe he can. Regardless, it's a bold move at a critical time.
