Sorry, RT, I'm going out on a limb to say, I think we know.
How can the Raiders possibly contain Mahomes? Ditto that for Travis Kelce? Chiefs' pass rush vs. Raiders rookies LTs (Parker gave up 3 sacks on consecutive plays last week). Andy Reid vs. Chucky (who has yet to show us he still has some chops).
Chiefs game plan: Stack the box, blitz often and throw to Kelce alot. Oh yeah, and run the ball 30+ times.
Minor wildcard is how the Chiefs will react to losing Kareem Hunt... which makes playing the Raiders perfect timing for them.
Dear Raiders coaches, please show us something, anything before the season is over.
In many ways, that was a step in the right direction.
Carr got some of his mojo back. He had better pocket presence (stepped up when he needed to). Threw downfield more. Running game continues to look decent, and the Raiders used more play-action (effectively). Raiders actually played a 2-min offense instead of conceding the game. Smart call to go for the FG with about 30 sec left. They almost recovered an on-side kick... something Seabass has yet to do successfully in his career. Conley is solid in coverage. How he got benched on the Raiders DB depth chart will forever be a mystery.
Still, so many mistakes. First, Brandon Parker is a liability at RT. He's gonna get Carr killed. Carr too many times throwing over the wrong shoulder of his receivers (not sure who's at fault). Carr and Martin almost missed the TD hand-off because one of them was on the wrong side. Carr started the play with the ball in his left hand but Martin ran to his left side. You don't see that often, except maybe in pee wee football. Three fumbles by three different players led to 13 pts, in a 7-pt game. Disappointing to see Gruden didn't know he couldn't challenge the scoring play (replay had to come from the booth). How does he not know that? Hopefully, he was just stalling to prompt the replay....
Yet, all-in-all a respectable game by the Raiders. If they can build off this game and put up a few more decent games, I'd feel a lot better about the off-season.
Watched Dallas Cowboys shut down high powered Saints with no name defense built up in 2 drafts. No Khalil Mack needed. Just 11 guys playing hard, playing with pride, with a good game plan. it can be done.
Denver Donks the same. Defense + running game, have made them respectable. Doesn't take long if you know what you're doing. Question is, does anyone in Raiders organization know what their doing??
Raiders have played better at home this year. They made a game of it yesterday. But Raiders on road have been scary bad.

Rebuild doesn't have to take that long.
