The NFL

Decisions- NFL and maybe some by Telesco. ask the NFL why the Raiders didn't trade/ sign a QB this year- I mean an star QB.

Defense- L.V. didn't have a top defense. firstly, they have only 2 star linemen, you can have 1 but you have to have depth around him they refused. still they would've had a top 10 line but they had issues in other areas that caused the problems- they refused to get a veteran CB to team with J. Jones. and as for LB unit Graham only uses 2 in his scheme. the pass rush couldn't do much when it was healthy because they don't have DBs' helping them and teams can just run on them if they can't pass on them first.

the offense- the Raiders had the offseason to make some moves and again refused to do it! they got a decent QB and played games all offseason knowing that AOC isn't ready to start. they did get a good FA RB(Mattison) but refused to use him until they had to. they also refuse to use their other guys as RBs' like WR T. McAllister. they wouldn't trade up or make trades for tackle help and they end up having issues at the RT every year or a lot.

the staff- the Raiders passed on 3 elite coaches and refused to interview them. this is a pattern that's been happening since Reggie was hired. for some reason they talk about being like winning coaches/ teams but refuse to hire those guys. they may hire Bellichick which is sad, the Raiders' Al Davis culture will be more and more forgotten with the NFL getting more say in the team. the NFL wants Bellichick in L.V.

As much as you guys attack Al for his hires you've supported

A.P. now you want to blame him for this mess and move on from him.

Del Rio you threw him under the bus when you found out Mark was looking at Gruden.

D. Allen oh yea, some of you were buying hype about somebody you never heard of.

Gruden ll you turned on him and threw him under the bus too.

Raidernation: it's not loyalty to listen to people you know hated Al and probably don't like you either. its' also sad to wait for them to help take you back to glory when it was them who wanted to see you losing and suffering. you were so desperate to win you listened to the media/ NFL tell you how sad losing Al was for the league/ fans but how great things will be because he lost it and you need a new direction.

We're still waiting for that.

I'm baffled by your posts. It's all make believe to you, like the Raiders could have just taken any QB they wanted.

My take is, it's the Raiders. They can't get out of their own way.

Pierce looks ineffective. How the pendulum has swung from last season which he oversaw two games with zero penalties, protected the ball and won three straight division games.

IMO, Pierce risks his own employment unless he makes a change at OC. But it's more than that. He struggles to make good sideline decisions, including not challenging the goal line stop last week that appeared to be a TD. And his repeated decisions to kick FGs when he needs TDs.

Injuries have clearly changed the trajectory of this season, but it's hard to keep faith in the Raiders when they consistently beat themselves with penalties, turnovers and bad play calling.

Luke Getsy and Gardner Minshew are two mistakes the Raiders cannot overcome this year. I hope Antonio Pierce isn't another one.

Bad decision-making has long been synonymous with the Raiders.

It's got nothing to do with the NFL. It's the Raiders inability to navigate their team to success. It's a sickness they can't cure. Some kind of voodoo.

P.S. I'm a fan of Davante Adams, but how ironic that he's now playing for a team with the same bad record as the Raiders? The primary difference is that the Jets clearly have higher expectations because of Rodgers.

IMO, Adams request for a trade was an indictment of the stupid crap that surrounds the Raiders as a team and an organization.

5:13 AM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

I don't think Pierce has lost the team, the defense played excellent yesterday. When your offensive line is crappy, you have no QB and no WR you are not going to have an offense. Expecting more would be foolish. I think a good drafat next year that includes a QB, OL and WR could have this team competing. Sandy

5:16 AM
Blogger nyraider said...

With all due respect, it's not foolish. The Raiders run the same plays over and over and expect different results. That's foolish. I've seen more imagination in HS football.

The WRs are the same ones AOC and Minshew played with entire preseason. Adams didn't play a snap in preseason and he's been out for weeks.

Also, the offense didn't truly start targeting Bowers until mid- 4th Q.

This is much deeper than a few players.

Anonymous Raider Nate 75 said...

I agree Sandy.
The biggest issue right now on the Raiders is Getsy. From his play calling to O-Line blocking scheme, he cannot get out of his own way. I said it under Gruden and McDaniels, and I will say it here, a great coach today knows how to play to the strengths of their roster. Getsy does not do this.
The second biggest issue right now, IMO, is the Raiders have too many voices running the show. I understand AP wanted to surround himself with mentors and people who got him here; but I'm not sure they are all on the same page. Its time for AP to figure out his own voice.

7:37 AM
Blogger nyraider said...

Nate, I don't think that's what Sandy said. He never mentioned Getsy. He said this is a player issue.

IMO, some of the bad line play has been directly a result of play calling, e.g., zone blocking. Kolton Miller used to be one of the best LTs in football. Getsy found a way to reduce Miller to an average player. I've never seen Miller get burned so much.

And discipline is sorely lacking. Lots of pre-snap penalties and stupid stuff, like illegal man down field. Raiders have jumped the shark and got stupid.

The Raiders TANKING for a QB is not a great move! just when are they committing to winning?

There aren't any CBs' or QBs' and LBs' to trade for? why are the Raiders so slow to make trades?

And why are you now excited about a guy who's an ex-super star QB but has no NFL exec experience? why is it that Raidernation doesn't question the NFL's motives with the Raiders? its' the NFL that got Brady to offer to buy a stake in team!

No pro sports team loses for this long, or keeps making bad decisions for this long. no team loses for this long and keeps doing the same thing not or making bad decisions a lot- and it's almost impossible with 1 regime much less different regimes.

The Adams trade, A.P. going from hype to villian, a new possible ownership group! the NFL is behind this! it's not bad decisions. fans are so naive! they listen to the same hype and expect different results.
Its' not the new ownership or A.P. its' the fact that the Raiders before the season started didn't do anything to show they wanted to win this yeasr.

BUSINESS DECISION part 10

Raidernation,

Al-Anon

Trading Adams was an NFL decision. he was never intended to help us make the playoffs! he was traded here to help the Packers and the NFL get ratings with a Rodgers and Adams reunion with another team.

Why would the Raiders go for a 3rd round pick?

A.P. is an interim HC. I don't think Brady will want him. and they won't allow him to do anything. remember, I said the NFL runs this team and wouldn't let Gruden/ Mayock make any big moves. did you notice they refused to draft any elite player with the 5 first round picks they had?

And its' not that they hate us that they would ruin our future its' that Al would never go for this and they want us to cooperate with their schemes.
They want to come up with more drama and the Raiders to help them out, oh, they don't like us but its' not as bad as when Al was running the team. they won't be happy with the Raiders until the Davis family is not majority owners.

You don't make the same decisions if you are a new regime but all of the regimes use the Bellichick/ 'NFL way'.

You can't possibly think that the Adams trade isn't staged. just like the 3rd round pick disgrace/ scam. you want to win so badly that you've:

1. thrown Al under the bus.
2. support new stake holders.
3. think moving to L.V. was a great idea.
4. think the NFL was right and Al was wrong.
5. think it's o.k. for the Raiders to overcharge for tickets.
6. think a rookie QB will lead us to the playoffs or willing to wait a few years to make the playoffs.
7. that Reggie was a good GM.
8. that the NFL isn't corrupt or trying to ruin this team.

Wow! to follow a team that refuses to try and win is not loyalty...its' brainwashing! you're not loyal but zapped and trying to trust a corrupt system. the NFL wants new owners the media works with pro leagues the owners are trying to make sure the Davis family don't suddenly copy Al and start doing what right like standing up for the players and showing loyalty to Raidernation. it's hard to believe but it's not a secret the Raiders are TANKING and have refused to work hard to win.

You guys blaming the coaches are just making excuses for what's a roster that outside of the defense does not have the talent to win. There is a reason every prognosticator and Vegas had the over-under on five wins this year. Until the Raiders get a real quarterback this is what we have to deal with Sandy

Al Anon, you're definitely not a money guy. Salary cap is just another NFL conspiracy to you.

When was the last time any team paid $35M in one season for a WR?

Think about it, because the answer is important.

NEVER!

That's why the Raiders only got a 3rd round pick for Adams. Raiders tested the market and got market value for a contract nobody wanted. It's not rocket science, and it's not an NFL conspiracy.

3:43 AM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

They got a 3rd rounder and if it weren't the fact that it wasn't Al or it might look shady and Bellichick didn't make it worse with his comments they'd probably gotten a 4th rounder instead.

For a guy who constantly talks about how these new regimes are so much better and modern than Al's you mean you actually believe they shouldn't've or couldn't've gotten a higher draft pick. 1st and a 2nd to a team for a star WR but a 3rd from a team for the same guy? dude...they like helping other teams out? he's elite! you don't give up elite players for 3rd rounders. this is new sales clerk's bad mistakes- learning on the job and getting disciplined by the supervisor stuff- wow! and fans think that it was the only thing they could get?

Its' the NFL doing this its' not bad decisions, desperation or the salary cap. the NFL wants a "Feel Good" story in NY!

You defend any shady or ridiculously suspicious actions that you cannot explain then you want to attack the new regime that sucks after they do it. it IS the NFL they've been tampering with this team since Al passed away.

They could've gotten decent QBs' and refused you mean, you have a top WR and TE unit and you refuse to get a star QB and you have an excuse!? tell me if they couldnt' get a QB
1. why let Carr walk or get Adams in the 1st place? why not just use AOC/ Minshew and keep Jacobs?

2. nobody else wanted this guy!? you mean, nobody would give up a 1st rounder for a guy that could take them to the playoffs?

3. why did you let the owners/Bellichick again, tell you what you should do? why not hold this guy let him sit until the last minuet of the trade deadline?

Al Anon, your lack of understanding or lack of awareness of this issue is stunning.

The Raiders spent two weeks on the phone (made the offering public) and got market value for Adams. You treat it like Adams didn't have a contract and the ONLY consideration for the Jets was a draft pick. False!

Al Davis traded the #7 pick in the 1st round to the Vikings for Randy Moss. Then Al traded Moss to the Patriots for a 4th rounder.

Al got schooled. The deal just made for Adams was better for the Raiders.

At least Adams played with heart. Moss epically dissed the Raiders and collected a paycheck.

This is what you get when you spend money unwisely on "star players." Nothing!

No conspiracy you dream up will change that. That's how it works.

Al-Anon,

Dude!....Al was hemmed in, blocked, tampered with.

The NFL!- 30 other teams!- decided they wanted to make the Patriots even more intimidating than they already were and refused to deal with Al and he could only trade Moss to the Patriots not a "feel good" story a Bully story they made the Patriots a monster and bully that looked awesome! and the underdog Giants in the NFC! wow! Moss and Brady? no way would Bellichick give up a 1st rounder for Moss! it was able ratings, the Super Bowl favorite Patriots with Moss they locked like a super team.

Wow and Al a genius who traded a 1st and a player for Moss decided a 4th rounder was a good trade? No, stop trying to find coincidences and black and white stories. the NFL is corrupt and they screwed the Raiders. Al was forced to accept that 4th round pick. other team's star asked for Moss and they said no. the Raiders are in worse situation than Al because the NFL is on the inside. Moss like W. Sapp quit on the team and is an NFL guy and it's sad because Al stood up for the players and some of them want to throw him under the bus like some of you fans.

5:10 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

Who could school Al?

the NFL couldn't! he sued them silly until the new billionaire owners used political and legal connections to tamper with the courts:

1. Al didn't win another law suit against the NFL/ teams during that slump. are you saying that his dysfunction and losing caused the courts to reject his case(s)?

2. he got cities to fight over the Raiders- Irwingdale, Glendale, L.A. and Anaheim.

3. he stood up for the NFL players against the owners' "new" CBA. he got the NFL to have to negotiate with them. and even though they finally accepted the "new" CBA the NFL was very angry with Al because the players were able to get national attention against the owners who the media was trying to paint as the victims of greedy players.

3. he lost the Elway race but got HOF CB M. Haynes from the Patriots for high draft picks not low picks and they went to the SB the same year('83).

No, nobody ever schooled AL not the Patriots. Al was the best or close to it making moves. you don't know Al not me.

5:18 PM
Blogger nyraider said...

Al paid a 1st round pick for Moss and sold his rights for a 4th rounder.

How's that different from Adams? You think both are conspiracies?

You clearly lack an understanding of the how the NFL works. And it's easier for you to make up conspiracies than it is to learn the truth.

There's no reasoning with you, only false claims and zero accountability. That's not a good look.

4:25 AM

Both were traded for high picks Both were super star WRs. And both were put in a game plan/ used by the NFL/ owners to create a "feel good" story(Adams and Rodgers) and a 'bully'/ monster team that some team somehow upsets and is he hero that defeats the 'bully'/ monster team('07 Patriots). a NYJs' team that has sucked for years gets super star QB but he can't do it alone! he get's injured his 1st year with the Jets but now its' time to make a playoff run but wait the Jets still suck. wait, the Raiders want to make a deal with a team, suddenly! they want to trade a super star WR! to the rescue! they trade D. Adams to the NYJs'! wow! he and Adams played together and now the Raiders give him to NYJs' for- a 3rd round pick!!! didn't they give up high picks for him!? oh, that's different see its' the salary cap and contracts that keep the Raiders from getting a decent deal. see, the Raiders are supposed to let team screw them but give teams decent/ expensive deals in trades. that's the way it seems to be going and its' happened a lot.

The mighty Patriots look unstoppable and will go undefeated to the Super Bowl with Moss and Brady who can stop them?

The NYJs' suddenly, can win and Adams and Rodgers turn the team around and they make the playoffs.

Oh no that's just coincidence!

Again, your post above is what happens when you don't understand the facts and you just make stuff up instead.

Even the slightest amount of common sense can lead you to the correct answer.

If you turned on your two-way radio and dialed in planet earth you'd know that Adams and Rodgers are close friends. Rodgers is near retirement. He's been jonesing for this trade since last year. That was elevated last week when Rodgers had a stark criticism of Mike Williams.

You also probably don't know that Adams moved into Rodgers apartment/house and has been living there since the trade.

The NFL did not, repeat, DID NOT orchestrate this trade. Jets are desperate to make something happen before Rodgers retires after which they'll be no better off than the Raiders without QB.

The Raiders made it very public they wanted to trade Adams and they were on the phone with several teams over the last 2-3 weeks. Raiders set the price at a 2nd round pick but ended up getting a 3rd because nobody else wanted Adams' huge contract.

The Jets deal is, by definition, the essence of market value.

Raiders fully exposed Adams to the market and made it know he was available.
Both parties (Raiders and Jets) were fully knowledgeable.
Both parties were acting in their best interest.

You can't make this stuff up. Everything you type that's not in complete concert with these statements is a total falsehood.

Basically, you're full of sh*t.

And? do you think if Carr had asked for T. Higgins for a year do you think the Bengals would trade him to L.V.? dude! n

The NFL and some of the owners schemed to make this trade unless the Raiders are trying to be the silliest and incompetent team in pro sports the trade made no sense! somebody would've given a 1st or 2nd and a veteran for this guy! cap or no cap that was a ridiculous trade made to look like a good move! It was scheme for ratings! this is so fake it this Hollywood story is so

and who is the villian? who plays the bad guy? a bad guy isn't a bully/ has ill intent it just takes it and gets' pushed around and gives up a lot for nothing. this is what your new modern regimes and ADVISERS have done to Al's team.

Raidernation!,

Al-Anon

O.K. AFC West lets get hyped, pumped lets cheer for a playoff run!

NY!, other Anon! we are arguing over the Raiders' situation but we don't have to go so far that we forget we are one Nation!

IMO...this is an outrage! the NYJs' thing was a staged story. it was a ratings move the AFC East has been mediocre since the Patriots faded/ finally sunk back to average. but its' also a little pay back to Al too!
With all the teams needing a WR the Raiders trade him to the 1 with his ex-teammate/ friend for a 3rd round pick- so the Jets can win and they get a 3rd rounder? its' a "feel good" story to make fans on the East coast stay interested and give the Bills some kind of competition in the AFC East and to give Rodgers a playoff run.

Brady can help but he needs to understand that's Al's family's team! and he isn't an experienced personnel guy yet; Elway did it and was a very good Pres. for the Broncos but Brady needs time and the Raiders need to get him some supervisors to help him but somebody else needs to make the decisions.

K.C. loves speed, size and athleticism and they are winning. the Raiders fans think this is a bad way to make moves but maybe if the Raiders tried that system they might win.

Broncos drafted a very good DE/ edge and the Raiders could learn from them and trade for 1 like Eagles' H. Reddick but I think the Eagles might ask for a 2nd rounder. would the media and NFL people tell the Eagles to take a 3rd rounder for him from the Raiders?

LAC's have a game plan and a big time, exciting HC. we are not complaining about A.P. he needs help, Brady might help but he need experienced NFL people. maybe if we used some of Al's idea it might help him.

I'd be happy to offer him the benefit of any doubt with just one shred of corroboration from media or even from one of his relatives, but he can't offer anything.

Strangely, he knows the names and eras in Raiders history, but he doesn't understand the circumstances. He either thinks failures were contrived or he views failures as victories to avoid conflict with his misconceptions.

hmmmm.....so, I'm just in a fantasy/ dream or make believe world? or, I'm just creating drama to play with you guys?

DRAMA! fantasy? did you and the Raiders know that there were 30 other teams in league that might want a star WR?

how is it

he played with Rodgers with the Packers!

the NFL needs/ loves Rodgers he is a legend and the closest thing to a Brady or Manning!

they want somebody to contend/ challenge the Bills

the NYJs' have sucked for decades and wouldn't it be great to see them finally win again or wouldn't it be nice to see them finally not be dominated by the Patriots all the time?

the ratings for a Rodgers and Adams NYJs' playoff team would be huge.

I understand there are no conspiracies, its your imagination the Raiders are in a good place they just need- well, more good staff and players and they will 1 day go to the playoffs! hater fans who question their system/ vision don't have any proof, are in a fantasy world/ crazy or not seeing things that are real and should stop attacking the team-
support them question them about their plans and how good there doing forget about criticizing them like:

you were moved to L.V.

you didn't draft ANY elite players since K. Mack in '14.

you don't/ Never signed an expensive star FA.

you keep using the same system/ vision(Patriots/ 'NFL way').

because guys who are might need a might be seeing things not true about Raiders, need long rest, crazy or having episodes of things that you not really hearing or seeing.

but what about these things? this isn't real? maybe these things need some long looks/ investigation and questioning by fans so maybe some of need rest and some need a longer rest and time with fraoid or a hospital but its ain't just me and other so called conspiracy theory people- its' a huge question mark that the NFL and Raiders can't answer that quick.

Raiders just lost a Super Bowl. they were an elite team! they were loaded and had 1 of the best staffs in the NFL!

they lost to some of the worst teams in the NFL.

Al tried to fix the problems.

he got W. Sapp he quit on the team despite playing at a pro bowl level. he got R. Moss he quit on the team. he got Falcons' pro bowl DB Hall he quit on the team. he hired S. Peyton he quit I mean really quit the HC job. he got J. Campbell he was a good QB and Reggie got rid of him. he got OC N. Turner and he couldn't win but then won for the Chargers. he got K. Collins who took the NYG's and the Panthers to the SB without the talent the Raiders had and he couldn't win for us.

The Raiders were defending AFC Champions in '03. they had Al- a genius and 1 of the best GMs' in pro sports, a top NFL staff and loaded with talent. they were still good enough to contend for the playoffs or upset elite teams if they couldn't make the playoffs even without Gannon and Gruden.

But they stopped winning! I said stopped I didn't seen any big injuries or retirements! Gannon and Gruden are huge losses maybe it may slow them keep them out of the title race but not from a playoff game or missing playoffs but still having a winning record 8-8 or 9-7?

There are no stories, claims, reasons or explanations the experts/ media has told/ can give us that answers the question of why this team is this bad! Raidernation is naive not loyal~!

Blogger nyraider said...

Seems like the more you're challenged for gaslighting, the deeper into the rabbit hole you go.

The Raiders didn't "just lose a Super Bowl" as you say. They lost the Super Bowl 22 years ago. An entire generation has passed since the SB, after which Al did not fix the problem. He hired one bad HC after another and put up losing records like 2-14 and 11-5 for an entire decade.

There's plenty of media out there for you to see during this period. You're too lazy to look at it, so you just make stuff up. It's your version of history built on misconceptions.

Suggesting there's no media available to you in the age of the Internet is lame. Your laziness and refusal to seek the truth couldn't be more evident.

So don't point your finger at Raiders fans and call them naive. That's insulting to fans who watched it and lived it in real time.

You're naive because that's what you chose to be. Thoroughly uninformed.

To Raidernation!,

Al-Anon

It took them almost 10 years to draft another elite player this being 1 of the more bad/ mediocre and average teams over that period!

I said that when Al traded Moss it was because the NFL owners wanted him in New England and nobody else would deal with him and when a super star QB told them to do it his team said "NO" it wasn't coincidence that Moss went to the Patriots.

When Reggie was hired the Raiders fired all of the experienced front office people and refused to sign/ trade for 1 star player.

A.P. was hired and no elite HCs' were interviewed by L.V. NY, you really should kind'a be quite because you were an A.P. fan what's the problem now?

Reggie ruined the secondary the LB units and gave away a lot of high draft picks. yet, you still think he did a good job?

Gruden II traded for 5 1st rounders and made a joke/ mess of it!

They fired coach Del Rio after he led them to the playoffs.

And the worst of it all they've 'screwed' over Raidernation by not working harder or being more bold to build a winner.

Trading Adams for a 3rd rounder

Trading Mack, Cooper away

Trading C. Patterson away(Reggie)

Telling fans AOC was going to be the future QB and not trying to find a starting QB. making Minshew the starter but not getting him the plays to win with, then benching him for AOC instead of giving Minshew time to get better.

Trading high picks for a star WR then, letting your best QB walk.

Not getting a starting CB before the season started.

not drafting elite players but reaching for high draft picks.

spending on the Alameda facility a year before moving to L.V. why spend on it at all?

Building a huge expensive facility in Henderson, NV but having to play in CA because of the heat in NV.

getting a RB in free agency and he is a steal/ balling but not using him as much as you should.

dude....this isn't something that is either incompetent or the NFL's tampering?

1. they wouldn't allow the Raiders to draft elite players.

2. they didn't want any of the top NFL players in Oakland/ L.V.

3. they moved us to L.V. for the Super Bowl not to get us a new stadium.

4. they staged this "feel good" story trade. the NYJ's and a 3rd rounder- really? they also kept Al from getting a better deal 30 owners refused to trade with him for Moss.

don't think it matters who is calling the plays when run blocking is non-existent, there is no #1 WR or #2 WR, no #1 RB, and a couple of back-up quality QB's throwing the ball. Getsy might not be the guy, but this isn't solely an offensive coordinator. Sandy

10:27 PM
Blogger nyraider said...

Blocking schemes matter. The Raiders went from a bad running team to Jacobs winning a rushing title then back to bad running team with mostly the same personnel. That's not a coincidence. Over the last few years (and even longer), the Raiders have vacillated back and forth between zone and power blocking, then back to zone or some poorly conceived hybrid crap.

This isn't a one-off for Getsy. He sucked in Chicago too.

He was never a coordinator before that. The Raiders hired a guy whose only job as OC was a total failure. They got exactly what they paid for. Meanwhile, QB or no QB, Kingsbury looks like a genius in DC.

The Raiders are exactly who they appear. A bad team in a bad organization.

I like Antonio Pierce, but he's starting to look like a card-carrying member of all the failed head coaches since 2003.

I get there have been injuries, and I'm the one mostly giving the Raiders a pass on their inability to get a QB due to the circumstances. Where I think Pierce has failed is the Getsy hire and some head scratching sideline decisions, like kicking FGs when we need TDs. Also, the TD play 2 weeks ago that he should have challenged but he instead rushed his offense to the LOS and they got stuffed.

These are the key responsibilities of the HC during games. He seems to be guess wrong too often.

I'm rooting for him, but he might not survive into next year. And we'll be starting over, again.

That's the team and the organization we're stuck with as Raiders fans.

AND it's NOT the fault of the NFL, as Al Anon likes to fantasize.

To use TE H. Bryant more when he's healthy. I think this might help not against K.C., but the next game. if we can go on a five game winning streak we could make a wild card run.

We also could use some tryouts from TP2 and couple of trades for defensive help like H. Riddick for that 3rd but oh, you see it's different, Philly won't make that kind of trade! they could also bring in FA LBs' and S's. Epps was a big loss and they could use a veteran SS.

Fans need to ASK before they say the Raiders won't listen to them.

Do you intentionally keep yourself uninformed, as your posts suggest?

Did you say, "ask Davis & Telesco for a FA CB to put with Jack Jones?"

Jakorian Bennett has 7 pass breakups this year, which ranks him 12th in the NFL (he's really tied for 7th in passes defended). He's playing out of his shoes for a 2nd year CB. But you want fans to "ask Mark Davis" to replace him?

Meanwhile, Jack Jones has underperformed expectations and we've all seen him avoid tackles that he should be making.

And TP2? Do you mean the rapper? Or the former Raiders supplemental draft project who hasn't thrown a pass in the NFL since the Raiders dumped him around 2013?

If the Raiders listen to you, we will never see another playoff run.

To NY Raider,

Al-Anon

Yes NY! why did I say that?-

The Raiders secondary has been lit up, dusted and scorched by teams in '24 but refuse to bring in a veteran CB to help Jones slow these teams down or outright fix the problem.

Bennett isn't ready to be a starter.

we've need a cover CB to put with J. Jones, a guy with experience and a good 1.

TP2 NY, do you realize Reggie came to Raiders and somehow the team messed up having both C. Palmer and TP2? do you know we've gotten guys who had throwing arm injuries(M. Flynn), UDFA's who unfairly didn't get time to learn before starting(McGloin) and Yet, some of us support them why not a guy who was a talent and proved it until Reggie or/ and his staff decided to keep him off the field. I'll tell you something the Raiders got blasted, lit up by the Eagles giving up 7 TD passes to them. M. McGloin was our QB and with a little time left in the game they threw TP2 in the game. he NEVER got a fair chance to play it was only C. Palmer being injured that got him the chance. it was the staff who didn't help him much. it's nothing new for a new regime to want their own guys but TP2 wasn't given the chance to help this team.

Bennett isn't ready to be a starter? Says who? You!

Bennett is the best cover CB on the Raiders. It's not even close. He's one of the highest rated CBs in the league.

Jones is a hit or miss big play CB who has been missing in action all year.

If you're watching Raiders football, you obviously don't know what you're seeing.
